Either will work equally. Make sure that you water is boiling hot and allow the bouillon to steep until well mixed.Potluck Soup Recipe?
Are you sure it's powder? If it's bouillon granules, it won't matter. Powder suggests that it should be used as a thickener.
Obviously the granular boullion will disolve faster...saving a whopping minute or so!
