Go buy some food from a bakery!I need a cute easy recipe for a Christmas Potluck tomorrow, Any ideas?
You need jack and cheddar cheese (1lb can't go wrong)Mushrooms (how many.I don't know.)

bacon,green onions,salt (garlic) worce sauce,parsley

Take the stems out and put them aside.Place the tops in some worce sauce for about 5minutes and drain.sprinkle with salt.

bake some bacon.Chop some green onions, stems, bacon and stuff the tops.Put them in a dish.About 30 minutes before you leave, place in them in the oven. Shred some jack %26amp; cheddar cheese.Ten minutes later take them out and sprinkle the cheese on top and parsley over the cheese.Put them back in for about two minutes or until the cheese has melted.

You need russet potatoes, chili powder, butter, cheese, parsley, bacon or sausage (drain after cooking...pleaase).Bake the potatoes for about 40/45minutes (350).While this is happening, cook your bacon, shred you cheese (or buy it shredded...saves time),melt your butter (it's not important how much, but not a cup or anything like that) and mix in a tsp of chili powder (mostly for color.)

Take you potatoes out and halve them, use a spoon to scoop the center of the pototoe (it should look like a canoe), spread the butter/chili mixture inside and out of the potatoe.Bake for another 20/25 minutes.Take them out and sprinkle the cheese.then top with bacon and parsley with a little bit of salt.Great for the superbowl!
chips and dip
This one is EASY....take boneless chicken breasts and cut up into medium sized cubes, take thick sliced bacon, cut the slap in half and wrap each cube of chicken breast in the 1/2 slice of bacon, secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle coarsely ground black pepper (be generous) and drizzle with your favorite BBQ sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven until bacon is done (do not over-bake and do not bake until the bacon is crispy...it doesn't taste good) but not crisp. Put in an aluminum pan and take to the party....this one is always a big hit!
what the heck is '; cute'; in realtion to a recipe , would someone please tell me?
dip
Asparagus and Proscuitto wraps. Steam some asparagus. Wrap three stems with a piece of porscuitto that you have lightly spread with brown or creole mustard. Serve.

Cute? I never thought of a recipe as cute or not. Cute? Hunh? Maybe??? But EASY for sure.
decorate a relish tray with pumpernickel bread and pita bread cut in triangles with spinach dip, veggies cut in strips with ranch and italian dressing and/ or a fruit salad: a big bowl of all kinds of fruit in it wrapped in colored saran wrap with a bow on it like a present with christmas decorations on the tray and/or bowl.

I think I was also told that these store very well, but I'm not positive about that.
DON'T ever take store bought food to a POTLUCK! That's just tacky! any kind of quick appetizer or side dish is probably fine.

go to allrecipes.com and enter what ingredients you have in the house and it will tell you what you can make
I made this last weekend and people absolutely loved it. Bacon wrapped shrimp. You need shrimp, bacon, honey and soy sauce.

Get a large bag of shelled, de-veined shrimp. Rinse them well and remove the tails. Use a half a slice of bacon to completely wrap the shrimp from top to bottom, folding over the ends. Pour honey in a bowl and microwave it for about 15 seconds to melt it. Mix in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce for each cup of honey. Mix it well, and drizzle it over the shrimp, coating each piece. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, uncovered. mix again and drain off excess honey to allow the bottoms of the shrimp to crisp up. You can strain and save the honey sauce for a dipping sauce, adding one teaspoon of Dijon mustard to it and mixing well. Bake until bacon is crispy. Place a toothpick in each one, serve and enjoy. It'll be a hit!
