I am looking for a recipe for some kind of hors d'oeuvre or something preferably healthy but dosen't have to be.I'm looking for some good ideas/recipes for something to take to work for a potluck..?
Hi! Here is a great website with lots of good recipes for potlucks:

Sometimes it's easier to take something that can be served cold. Like...I sometimes take a ';Green Rice Salad';: First, cook a pot of regular white rice. Mix in some sliced scallions, 2 diced green pepper, add 2 jars (including the juice) of artichoke hearts, some cooked, cold peas and chopped parsley. Add enough mayonnaise to make it mix well together, but be careful not to add too much. Spoon into a nice serving bowl or on a platter and add some parsley as a garnish. It's pretty and refreshing at a lunch.

Or...you could make this very easy ';salad';: Arrange slices of good tomatoes and mozarella cheese in a layered pattern on a platter, starting from the outside and going in. Sprinkle a little bit of excellent olive oil and freshly ground pepper. Add a sprig of parsley for color. This salad is extremely attractive and impressive, but takes about 5 minutes to assemble.I'm looking for some good ideas/recipes for something to take to work for a potluck..?
One of my favorites is to take a bottle of grape jelly and a bottle of Chilli Sauce - generally next to the katsup in an octagonal shaped bottle - (equal amounts of each) melt them in a crock pot and put in those little cocktail sausages or meatballs. Let them go for an hour or so and BAM! instant food.

I know it sounds a little weird, but it is good.
Deviled eggs. Or fish sticks.
Yang Zhou Fried Rice. Lots of steamed white rice fried with scrambled eggs, diced carrots, peas, diced ham, diced de-shelled shrimp, and salt added to taste. Easy and popular.
Try stuffed mushrooms always a hit at all my parties
Pasta Salad its quick and easy.

Boil noodles and place in bowl, mix in chopped green pepper, one chopped white onion, diced/chopped ham, sliced black olives, feta cheese, and lightly mix with italian dressing.
I have this AMAZING recipe for ginger bread men. I know they're out of season but you can have it if you want it...
Desserts are always a hit but i wouldnt take anything with peanuts or peanutbutter there are so many people allergic to them now days I would go with a Betty Crocker cake, brownies, rice crispy treats or cupcakes %26amp; you could also bring ice cream or just take the easy way out %26amp; grab afew bags of chex mix or chips or a green olive%26amp;chive cream cheese ball with assorted crackers
